What you’ll do
As a Lead Instrumentation and Control System Engineer for the Industrial team based in Brisbane, you’ll contribute to projects and programs that make a real difference and be part of a team that embraces challenges, welcomes diverse ideas, and engineer solutions with people and outcomes in mind. You will:
Be a trusted advisor to clients and project teams, providing specialist guidance on hazardous areas, functional safety and control systems engineering.
Lead the technical delivery of complex projects and engineering packages, shaping solutions that create lasting value for clients and communities.
Collaborate with experts across multiple disciplines to deliver integrated project outcomes.
Support and develop emerging engineers through coaching, mentoring and knowledge sharing.
Influence project success by overseeing delivery performance, schedules and budgets while maintaining a focus on quality and technical excellence.
Build strong client partnerships, identifying opportunities and helping turn ideas into successful project outcomes.
Champion innovation, continuous improvement and best-practice engineering across the team.
What you’ll bring
Relevant qualifications in Electrical Engineering (or a related discipline), along with RPEQ, CPEng or RPEng accreditation.
Strong expertise in instrumentation and control systems engineering, with a solid understanding of industry standards and best practices.
Proven experience delivering instrumentation and control solutions within industrial, resources, manufacturing, energy or process environments.
The ability to confidently engage with clients and project stakeholders, translating technical concepts into practical solutions.
Well-developed communication skills, with experience preparing technical documentation and contributing to client-facing discussions.
A collaborative and supportive approach, with a passion for working as part of multidisciplinary teams and sharing knowledge with others.
A willingness to travel to site when required to support project delivery and strengthen client relationships.
