What you'll be doing
The purpose of the positions is to provide Occupational Therapy services as part of an acute, multidisciplinary team. The positions are primarily based within the Medical Assessment Unit, ED and the ED Short Stay Unit. One position will incorporate 1 day on the weekend (Saturday).
The position has responsibility for planning, co-ordinating and implementing evidence based practice in addition to providing clinical expertise and specialised knowledge.
The position has line responsibility for the guidance of Level 1/2 staff members using expertise gained from working as an occupational therapist.
Position 1 will incorporate working on a Saturday in addition to Thursdays and Fridays. Position 2 will be available on 2 weekdays. Hours may be negotiable.
