About this opportunity
As the Community Engagement Officer, you will play a key role in growing Dovida’s presence within the local community while supporting prospective clients through their onboarding journey. This is a relationship-focused role where you will build and maintain referral networks, respond to service enquiries, and help connect individuals and families with personalised home care solutions.
Reporting to the Business Operations Manager, you will work closely with clients, families, referral partners and internal teams to drive growth, deliver exceptional customer service and ensure a seamless experience from initial enquiry through to onboarding.

Key responsibilities

Build and maintain relationships with referral providers and community stakeholders
-
Research and pursue new referral opportunities to support business growth

Respond to service enquiries and guide prospective clients through available care options

Coordinate client onboarding activities and complete intake documentation

Deliver presentations, attend expos and represent Dovida within the community

Maintain accurate records of referral activities, enquiries and client interactions

Work closely with internal teams to support onboarding targets and growth objectives

Maintain knowledge of Support at Home reforms, aged care requirements and local services
About you
You are a proactive and relationship-driven professional who enjoys connecting with people and making a positive impact in the community. You thrive in a fast-paced environment, take initiative and are passionate about helping clients access the support they need to live well at home.
You'll also have:

Demonstrated experience in aged care, community services or a customer-facing role

Strong networking, relationship-building and stakeholder engagement skills

Exceptional customer service and communication skills

Strong administration, organisation and time management capabilities

Ability to work autonomously while collaborating effectively with a broader team

Working knowledge of the Aged Care Quality Standards and Support at Home reforms will be highly regarded

A relevant qualification in health, community services or a related field will be highly regarded
