About The Role:
As the SMS Developer – CRM & Enterprise Applications, you will play a pivotal role in configuring, customizing, and supporting Victoria University’s Enterprise CRM ecosystem, primarily Oracle Service Cloud and related platforms. You will also contribute your full-stack development expertise across various enterprise systems, ensuring stable, secure, and high-quality digital services that empower student-facing functions and university operations.
Position Key Duties:
- Configure and customize Oracle Service Cloud and related CRM components to meet evolving business needs.
- Develop and maintain full-stack software solutions, including APIs, microservices, and integrations across CRM, ERP, and student lifecycle platforms.
- Provide production support by diagnosing and resolving incidents, ensuring system stability and performance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver seamless integration and data synchronization between enterprise systems.
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance system efficiency and reduce manual effort.
- Contribute to technical design, documentation, and Agile project delivery within a collaborative team environment.
- Support training initiatives, license renewals, and cost management related to CRM and enterprise applications.
- Maintain compliance with secure coding practices, version control, and continuous integration/deployment pipelines.
Position Details:
- Salary: $101,288 - $109,639 - Plus 17% Super
- Employment Type: Full Time – Ongoing/Permanent
- Hours per Week: 36.75/1 FTE
- Location: Footscray Park Campus – 3 days on-site

About You:
- Relevant postgraduate qualifications or equivalent experience in software development and enterprise applications.
- Proven expertise configuring and customizing Oracle Service Cloud and related CRM platforms.
- Strong full-stack development skills using modern programming languages and frameworks.
- Experience developing APIs, integrations, and automation solutions across complex enterprise systems.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively in small teams and manage multiple projects.
The University is a Child Safe organisation. You will be required to hold a current Working with Children Check (WWCC) or be willing to obtain one prior to commencing employment.
