About the Role
We're seeking an experienced Fabricator/Welder to join our South Australian maintenance team based at our Head Office in Dry Creek.
Working within our modern workshop, you'll be responsible for the fabrication, maintenance, modification and repair of our extensive fleet of mobile plant, heavy equipment and specialised assets. No two days are the same, with opportunities to work across structural fabrication, heavy equipment repairs and marine fabrication projects.

What You'll Do
- Perform fabrication, welding, repairs and modifications to mobile and fixed plant equipment.
- Manufacture and install structural steel components.
- Complete maintenance and upgrades on heavy machinery and specialised equipment.
- Assist with custom equipment builds and improvement projects.
- Carry out marine fabrication and repair work where required.
- Read and interpret workshop drawings and fabrication plans.
- Maintain a safe, organised and efficient workshop environment.
- Work collaboratively with the wider maintenance team to deliver high-quality outcomes.
What You'll Bring
- Trade qualification in Fabrication, Engineering (Fabrication Trade) or Boilermaking.
- Demonstrated experience in heavy fabrication and welding.
- Strong MIG welding experience (TIG and Stick welding advantageous).
- Ability to read and interpret fabrication drawings.
- Current Driver's Licence.
- Strong commitment to workplace safety and quality workmanship.
- Ability to work both independently and within a collaborative team.
- Ability to pass a pre-employment medical, including drug and alcohol testing.

- Experience with marine fabrication or specialised equipment.
- Forklift, Dogging, Rigging or Elevated Work Platform licences.
- Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to fabricate from first principles.
