As a tutor, you'll create a supportive learning environment where students feel encouraged to ask questions, build confidence, and improve their academic skills. Teaching resources and lesson plans are provided, allowing you to focus on delivering engaging support tailored to each student's needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Support students from Kindergarten through to Year 12.
- Assist students with Maths and English, with opportunities to tutor additional subjects based on your strengths.
- Work with small groups of up to six students in each session.
- Explain concepts clearly and help students develop problem-solving skills.
- Encourage participation, motivation, and confidence in learning.
- Monitor student progress and provide feedback where required.
About You
We're looking for someone who:
- Has strong knowledge of Maths and/or English.
- Communicates clearly and enjoys working with young people.
- Is reliable, organised, and punctual.
- Is currently studying, or has completed, a university degree (Education, Engineering, Science, Mathematics, or a related field is highly regarded).
- Previous tutoring or teaching experience is an advantage, but not required.

Working Hours
- Weekday afternoons and evenings (after school).
- Weekend shifts may also be available.
Pay: $27.00 – $35.00 per hour
