You want to play a part in making NSW a better place to work, live and travel.
This is your opportunity to broaden your experience and perspectives, step out of the confines of a standard project role and expand your scope to work with an interconnected ecosystem of industry professionals.
In this role, you'll:
Lead the project governance function within the PMO Governance, Assurance and Standards team, ensuring governance forums are effectively established and run to support transparent, evidence-based decision-making across the portfolio.
You will provide oversight across all project stages, ensuring alignment with governance frameworks and stage-gate requirements, while identifying risks, issues, or variances and escalating where needed.
Drive consistency across a diverse portfolio, adapting governance approaches to suit both technology and non-technology initiatives.

- Proven capability managing executive governance forums, including preparing decision papers and maintaining accurate, audit-ready records.
- Sound understanding of NSW Government investment and assurance processes.
- Ability to analyse portfolio performance across cost, schedule, and risk, and translate insights into clear recommendations.
- Experience improving governance practices through frameworks, training, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Tertiary qualifications in project management, business, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Certification in a recognised project management methodology (e.g. PRINCE2, PMI, AIPM or equivalent)
