ABOUT MAMASAN Following a major renovation and a complete menu evolution, we are expanding our kitchen leadership team to fuel the next chapter of our award-winning modern Asian dining experience.

THE ROLE We are looking for experienced Sous Chefs who want to lead, influence and be part of a kitchen that is moving forward with purpose. This is not a “hold the fort” role - this is hands-on leadership, supporting our Exec and Head Chefs to drive:
- Immaculate service execution
- A high-performance, respectful team culture
- Consistent quality across all stations
- Structured prep systems and recipe accuracy
- Menu development and innovation
- High-volume service with calm, capable control

WHAT YOU BRING
- 2–3+ years in a Sous role within premium or high-volume venues
- Strong understanding of Asian flavours or the desire to master them
- The ability to lead service & sections confidently and support junior chefs
- Excellent organisation, communication and service awareness
- A proactive approach - you see what needs doing before you’re asked
- A commitment to quality, teamwork and hospitality at the highest level

Sous Chef: salary from $83,000 - $88,000 plus superannuation
