ABOUT THE TEAM
The team supports whole-of-government digital products by maintaining and uplifting Drupal platforms, enabling secure PaaS and SaaS services, supporting releases and operational reliability, and improving platform engineering practices across development, security, accessibility and service delivery.
ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY
The Department of Finance is seeking an experienced APS6 Senior Drupal Developer who can apply specialist technical knowledge to deliver Drupal-based solutions supporting whole-of-government digital products. The role works under limited direction, is accountable for delivery of defined work packages, contributes to technical decision-making and ensures outcomes align with team objectives, standards and priorities.
The role contributes to maintaining platform stability, meeting security and compliance requirements, supporting strategic initiatives and strengthening development capability within the team.
The successful candidate will:

Successful applicants will be required to undergo the process to obtain and maintain, or continue to hold the required security clearance level for the role as indicated in the downloadable job pack. All Finance staff are required to have a minimum baseline security clearance prior to commencement.

This role is being advertised as both ongoing and non-ongoing. Roles may be offered as either ongoing or non-ongoing subject to operational requirements. Where a non-ongoing position is offered, the role will be filled for a specified term of up to 12 months. Specified term vacancies may be extended up to a maximum period of 18 months.
