We currently seek a motivated and experienced Trades Assistant to join our modern, well-equipped STAUFF Technology Centre. Reporting to the STC Manager, this role is key to supporting the daily workshop operations.
Key Responsibilities:
· Maintenance of hydraulic and work shop equipment
· Tube bending and manipulation
· Hose and accumulator assembly and packaging
· Assist in general warehouse duties as required
· Safe and efficient operation of workshop equipment
· Manual handling
· Assist tradespeople on workshop floor
· Maintain a safe, orderly and clean workshop at all times
Selection Criteria:
· Mechanical aptitude – mechanical/hydraulic trade qualifications - desirable
· Experience in hydraulic or allied fields – desirable
· Ability to meet deadlines and excellent attention to detail
· Self-motivated and ability to accept responsibility
· Good written and verbal communication
· Strong time management and ability to prioritise
· Current drivers licence
· Current forklift licence
