If you’re after impact, there’s no other organisation in Australia that delivers work on this scale.
You're a forward thinker who sees potential where others don't. You'll have the chance to contribute to the delivery of a range of key work packages impacting millions.
In this role, you'll:
Join our Sydney Metro Western Sydney Airport Project Delivery Commercial team, supporting the Linewide stream.
Work with the Commercial Director and Associate Director Commercial to lead the commercial management of the Linewide stream within the SSTOM package, which is being delivered as a Public Private Partnership with Parklife Metro as the private sector counterparty. This includes implementation of the commercial framework, contract administration and management of commercial issues across Linewide scope.
Provide commercial advice to the Delivery Team and Operations Team on Linewide matters including systems, track, signalling, communications, power, testing and commissioning, integration with stations and operational readiness. Key responsibilities include managing Linewide contract obligations, coordinating interface issues, supporting modification assessments, resolving commercial impacts and contributing to claims, deed amendments and operational agreement development.
Prepare reports, briefing notes and commercial advice for Linewide matters, manage variations, claims, maintain registers, and collaborate with contractors, delivery partners and internal stakeholders on time-sensitive issues as they arise.
Manage and lead a small team and be the conduit between junior team members and commercial leaders within the business.
Enjoy the many opportunities for personal and professional growth whilst working in a team who value lateral thinking, independent challenge, and a commitment to making a difference.
This is a temporary Transport Senior Service Manager (TSSM) opportunity with an end date of 30/6/2028. Please see the role description and information pack for more information.
About you

As a confident, inspiring, and pragmatic leader, you are passionate about developing your team’s commercial skills within a project delivery setting.
