This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Registered Nurse ready to step into a specialist consultancy role where you can influence clinical practice, mentor staff and contribute to service innovation within a dynamic health setting.

What you'll be doing
As the Clinical Nurse Consultant, you will provide advanced clinical leadership and expert consultancy to support older adults with complex health needs in the Emergency Department and across the service.
You will:
Deliver expert person-centred clinical consultancy and direct patient care
Lead education initiatives and support staff capability development
Contribute to research, evidence-based practice and quality improvement projects
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to optimise patient outcomes
Develop and review clinical pathways, policies and models of care
This role is ideal for a motivated clinician with strong leadership capability, extensive clinical knowledge and a passion for improving care for older people.
About You
You are an experienced and compassionate Registered Nurse who thrives in a collaborative clinical environment and is committed to excellence in patient care.
To succeed in this role, you will bring:
Current registration as a Registered Nurse with AHPRA
Minimum 5 years post graduate experience with relevant postgraduate qualifications
Demonstrated leadership and advanced communication skills
Experience working autonomously and within multidisciplinary teams
Strong understanding of clinical governance, policy and evidence-based practice
High level computer and clinical information system skills
