Groundsman
We are seeking an experienced Groundsman to join our Facilities team at our Pimpama Campus.
Reporting to the Facilities Manager, responsibilities include general ground/garden keeping duties and some maintenance tasks.
Duties & Responsibilities:

To maintain gardens, grounds (i.e. all other landscaped areas) and sports fields using manual tools and machinery provided. This also includes sports fields line marking & sports field preparation (e.g. volleyball nets set up). To be part of the team when doing landscape projects to enhance the campus.

“Front of school” defined as grounds/buildings/playground equipment e.t.c that the parent’s see every day, to be maintained to a high standard and given the highest priority.

This person is required to follow best practice on ways of working safely as per Australian Standards at all times.

Compulsory attendance at all meeting required by the Facilities Manager included those meetings with a spiritual emphasis.
Qualifications:
-
Experience in grounds with a ground’s qualification is preferred and/or a qualification in a trade or similar industry with extensive building experience.

Physical attributes: Capable of doing physical work through all seasons and have the physical attributes to do manual work for the majority of a day if required.

Be a team orientated person.
This is a Full Time position based at our Pimpama Campus and is Monday to Friday 7am - 3pm.

Our PIMPAMA CAMPUS (on the northern end of the Gold Coast) currently has over 2000 students on-site, from Early Learning to Year 12.
King’s LOGAN VILLAGE CAMPUS (in south-west Logan) currently has over 1000 students on-site, offering places for students from Early Learning through to High School.
