Health & Physical Education Teacher (Maximum-Term)
Eastside Lutheran College is a vibrant Kindergarten to Year 10 learning community located in Warrane, just 10 minutes from Hobart's city centre. We are seeking an enthusiastic and passionate Health and Physical Education Teacher to join our team in a maximum-term position for approximately 9 months, covering a period of parental leave. While the role will primarily involve teaching Health and Physical Education within our Primary School , the successful applicant will also have the opportunity to work with students in the Secondary School as required.
This is an exciting opportunity for an educator who is committed to inspiring students to develop lifelong habits of health, wellbeing and physical activity. The successful applicant will deliver engaging and contemporary Health and Physical Education programs that encourage participation, resilience, teamwork and personal growth.

The successful candidate will:
Deliver Health and Physical Education programs for the Primary School.
Foster positive student engagement and wellbeing.
Create safe, inclusive and supportive learning environments.
Work collaboratively with colleagues to enhance student learning outcomes.
Contribute positively to the wider life of the College.
Leadership Opportunity
For the right candidate, there may also be an opportunity to undertake the role of Learning Area Coordinator - Health and Physical Education , providing leadership and support within the Learning Area and contributing to the ongoing development of curriculum, teaching practice and student outcomes.
About You
You will:
Hold current teacher registration in Tasmania.
Demonstrate a passion for Health and Physical Education.
Current first aid certificate.
Be committed to student wellbeing and holistic development.
Possess strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Be able to work collaboratively within a team environment.
Support the Christian ethos and values of Eastside Lutheran College.
