Job Description
As a Cook at Pappa Flock, you’ll be responsible for preparing and cooking menu items to the highest standards, ensuring consistency, speed, and quality in every dish. You will play a key role in maintaining kitchen hygiene, food safety, and efficient back-of-house operations.
Key Responsibilities
Food Preparation & Cooking:

Prepare, cook, and present menu items according to Pappa Flock recipes and portioning standards.

Ensure all food served meets quality, taste, and visual expectations.
Kitchen Operations:

Maintain a clean, organised, and compliant kitchen environment.

Follow food safety and hygiene protocols at all times.

Assist with opening and closing kitchen procedures, including cleaning and stock preparation.
Inventory & Stock Management:

Assist in managing stock levels, including receiving, storing, and rotating inventory.

Monitor stock usage and report any shortages or quality issues.
Teamwork & Communication:

Work closely with the kitchen and front-of-house teams to ensure smooth service.

Contribute positively to team morale and a productive work culture.

About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:

Previous experience in a fast-paced cooking environment or similar role.

Strong understanding of food safety and hygiene standards.

Ability to work quickly and accurately under pressure.

A team-first attitude and good communication skills.

Passion for great food and delivering a top-notch customer experience.

NSW Food Handler Certificate and Food Safety Certificate.
