About the role
Join the talented team at Venus Tyres and Auto as a full-time Motor Mechanic in our Southport, QLD 4215 location. In this hands-on role, you will be responsible for providing high-quality repairs and maintenance services to keep our customers' vehicles running smoothly.
What you'll be doing
- Diagnose and repair a wide range of vehicle issues, including engine, transmission, electrical, and suspension problems
- Perform routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, brake inspections, and tyre rotations
- Test and inspect vehicles to identify potential problems and recommend appropriate solutions
- Use diagnostic equipment and tools to accurately pinpoint and resolve vehicle issues
- Maintain detailed records of all work performed and parts used
- Provide exceptional customer service and communicate effectively with clients
What we're looking for
- Relevant trade qualification or equivalent experience as a Motor Mechanic
- Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills to efficiently identify and resolve vehicle issues
- Proficient in the use of automotive repair tools and diagnostic equipment
- Excellent attention to detail and the ability to work accurately and efficiently
- Good communication skills to effectively liaise with customers and team members
- Commitment to providing high-quality work and exceptional customer service
