About the role:
We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Despatch Administrator to provide administrative support to our busy Despatch team as well as providing shop floor support including pick, packing and the loading and unloading of trucks. To be successful in this role you will have experience in a similar role, strong administrative skills, a good understanding of shipping/transport documentation and be comfortable in a warehousing environment.
Key Responsibilities:

Coordinate transport and prepare appropriate documents, including domestic and freight shipments

Liaise with both internal and external contractors/customers

Assist in picking and packing of customer orders, local export and distribution orders and assist with stock takes

Ensure correct paperwork is signed off and communicated back to sales/management

Ensure completion of transport documentation and labelling of goods

Provide quality customer service both over the phone and face to face

General reception and administration duties
Essential Requirements:
-
2 years’ experience in a similar role
-
Proven experience in a despatch environment

Proficiency in inventory software, databases and systems

Strong interpersonal, time management and organisational skills
-
Motivated, reliable and able to work independently
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with high attention to detail

Forklift License desirable
