Factory Foreman / Leading Hand Cabinet Maker (Qualified Tradesperson)
We're looking for a hands-on Factory Foreman/ Leading Hand Cabinet Maker to lead our factory and installation teams while maintaining the highest standards of quality, safety, and craftsmanship.
This is not a desk-bound role. You'll be actively involved in factory production, cabinetry assembly, site installations, team leadership, and ensuring every project is delivered on time and to an exceptional standard.

The Role
As our Factory Foreman / Leading Hand Cabinet Maker, you'll lead the day-to-day factory operations while remaining hands-on in production and installation. Working closely with the Director, installers, tradespeople, and apprentices, you'll coordinate workflow, maintain quality standards, support the team, and ensure projects are delivered safely, efficiently, and on schedule.
This role is ideal for an experienced cabinet maker ready to step into a leadership position, or an established foreman seeking a hands-on role within a growing business.
Key Responsibilities
· Lead and supervise the factory team, providing day-to-day direction and support.
· Work hands-on with the manufacture and assembly of custom cabinetry and joinery.
· Manage production schedules, workflow, job allocation, and material usage.
· Read and interpret Mozaik plans, drawings, and project specifications.
· Maintain quality control throughout production and ensure jobs are completed to a high standard.
· Coordinate with management, installers, suppliers, tradespeople, and apprentices to keep projects running smoothly.
· Assist with on-site installations, maintenance, and problem-solving when required.
· Monitor and enforce Work Health & Safety (WHS) standards.
· Maintain a clean, organised, and safe factory environment.
· Ensure projects are delivered accurately, efficiently, and on schedule.
What We're Looking For
· Proven experience in cabinet making, joinery manufacturing, and installation.
· Previous experience as a Leading Hand, Foreman, or similar supervisory role.
· Proven experience using CAD/CAM software and preparing or programming jobs for CNC machinery within a cabinet making or joinery environment
· Ability to lead, motivate, and manage a small team.
· Strong understanding of custom cabinetry, joinery processes, and quality standards.
· Ability to read and interpret Mozaik plans, technical drawings, and specifications.
· Strong organisational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
· High attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
· Sound understanding of WHS requirements and safe work practices.
· Reliable, proactive, and able to work independently.
· Current driver's licence and White Card.
