Top Cuts Darwin is looking for a talented, experienced and passionate Barber or Hairdresser to join our friendly and professional team in, Darwin NT
We are seeking someone who takes pride in their work, has excellent attention to detail and is committed to providing high-quality grooming and hairdressing services to every client.
About the Role
Barbering
- Men’s haircutting and precision scissor cuts
- Clipper cuts and advanced fading techniques
- Beard trims, shaping and grooming
- Traditional and modern shaves
- Children’s haircuts
- Restyling and personalised grooming services
Hairdressing
- Haircuts and precision scissor work
- Hair colouring
- Styling and up-styling
- Hair treatments
- Creating personalised looks to suit each client
Salon Duties
- Maintain a clean, tidy and hygienic salon at all times
- Complete daily cleaning of the salon, including workstations, floors, mirrors, equipment and common areas
- Clean and sanitise tools and equipment in accordance with salon hygiene standards
- Maintain an organised and professional work environment (Including stock and product display)
- Complete daily opening and closing duties as required
- Ensure the salon is presented to a high standard for clients and staff
About You
The ideal candidate will have:
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in the barbering or hairdressing industry preferred
- Strong technical skills and attention to detail
- Experience with modern barbering and/or hairdressing techniques
- A passion for delivering excellent customer service
- Excellent grooming and personal presentation
- The ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Strong work ethic and a positive attitude
- A trustworthy, reliable and professional approach
- Excellent organisational and time-management skills
- Punctuality and reliability
- Enthusiasm and genuine passion for the industry
- Willingness to undertake daily salon cleaning and general duties
- The ability to complete daily operational and essential duties to a high standard
