As we continue to grow, we are seeking a motivated and talented Sous Chef to join our kitchen team.

About the Role:
As our Sous Chef, you will play a key role in supporting daily kitchen operations, maintaining food quality standards, and assisting with the leadership and development of the kitchen team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the Head Chef in the day-to-day management of kitchen operations.
- Prepare and cook high-quality menu items consistently and efficiently.
- Support service periods while maintaining speed, accuracy, and presentation standards.
- Assist with menu preparation, food production, and kitchen organisation.
- Monitor stock levels, ordering requirements, and inventory control.
- Ensure food safety, hygiene, and workplace health and safety standards are maintained at all times.
- Train, mentor, and support junior kitchen staff.
- Help maintain kitchen cleanliness and equipment standards.
- Work collaboratively with front-of-house staff to ensure excellent customer experiences.
- Contribute ideas to improve kitchen efficiency, food quality, and team performance.
Skills & Experience Required:
- Previous experience as a Sous Chef, Senior Chef, or similar leadership role.
- Strong experience working with burgers, brunch menus, and high-volume kitchen operations.
- Excellent food preparation and cooking skills.
- Experience with stock management, ordering, and cost control.
- Sound knowledge of food safety and HACCP principles.
- Proven ability to maintain food quality, consistency, and kitchen standards during busy service periods.
- Ability to lead by example and support a positive team environment.
