About the Role
We are looking for an experienced, reliable and hands-on Cellarbrations Store Supervisor to join our retail liquor team across the central to southern Gold Coast.
We’re open to full-time, part-time or casual employment arrangements, but applicants must be able to commit to a minimum of 20 hours per week and have reasonable flexibility across the trading week.
This is a hands-on supervisory role. You’ll take ownership of the day-to-day operation and presentation of the store, support and guide a small team of casual staff, and maintain strong standards across customer service, stock control, merchandising, compliance and store operations.
We’re looking for people who are comfortable working independently, solving problems and getting stuck into the day-to-day work alongside the team. You’ll need to notice what needs doing, take initiative and follow things through without constant direction.
Key Responsibilities
- Take ownership of day-to-day store operations, including stock receiving, merchandising, store presentation, banking, security and compliance
- Lead, support and train casual team members
- Deliver excellent customer service and build strong relationships with regular customers
- Execute promotional displays, ticketing and merchandising requirements
- Maintain stock accuracy through careful receiving, stock control and participation in stocktakes
- Ensure compliance with RSA requirements and relevant liquor and tobacco legislation
- Maintain a clean, organised and well-presented store
- Support roster coverage and work collaboratively with the broader retail team
- Identify issues early, take initiative and follow through on operational tasks
About You
We’re looking for someone who is:
- Experienced in retail liquor, bottle shop operations or a similar fast-paced retail environment
- Experienced in supervising, leading or taking responsibility for a team or shift
- Reliable, organised and comfortable taking ownership
- Confident working independently and making sensible operational decisions
- Customer-focused, approachable and commercially minded
- Comfortable with POS systems, stock management and merchandising
- Able to commit to a minimum of 20 hours per week
- Flexible with availability, including some evenings, weekends, public holidays and peak trading periods
- Able to reliably travel to work across the central to southern Gold Coast
- Currently holding a valid Queensland RSA
Previous bottle shop or liquor retail experience is strongly preferred.

Pay: $27.97 – $34.96 per hour
