Help us bring more Queenslanders home safely
AirAgri is an Australian agricultural technology company dedicated to improving safety, communication and operational visibility across rural and regional Australia.
From lone-worker protection and emergency response technology to contractor management, farm safety systems and digital compliance, AirAgri works alongside agricultural businesses to protect their people, simplify safety and strengthen their operations.
As our Queensland presence continues to grow, we are looking for an experienced and passionate Key Account Manager to join our expanding Toowoomba head office.
This role is suited to someone who genuinely loves Queensland, understands its agricultural industries and enjoys building long-term relationships with farmers, producers and agricultural businesses.
About the role
The Key Account Manager will be responsible for managing and growing a portfolio of existing AirAgri customers across Queensland.
You will become a trusted point of contact for our customers, helping them achieve value from the AirAgri platform while identifying opportunities to expand the relationship.
You will also play a leading role in onboarding new customers, ensuring they are supported from initial implementation through to successful adoption across their properties, teams and operations.
This is not a traditional desk-based account management role. You will spend time in the field, visit agricultural businesses, understand how they operate and help customers implement practical safety and technology solutions.
Key responsibilities
- Manage and strengthen relationships with AirAgri’s existing Queensland customers.
- Lead the onboarding and implementation of new customers.
- Develop a strong understanding of each customer’s properties, operations, workforce and safety requirements.
- Conduct regular customer meetings, property visits and account reviews.
- Help customers successfully adopt AirAgri’s technology across their businesses.
- Identify opportunities to expand the use of AirAgri products, devices and software modules.
- Work with customers to resolve issues and ensure they receive a high level of service.
- Coordinate with AirAgri’s product, support, operations and leadership teams.
- Gather customer feedback and help influence future product development.
- Maintain accurate customer records, onboarding plans and account activity.
- Represent AirAgri at agricultural events, field days and industry meetings.
- Support the continued growth of AirAgri throughout Queensland.
About you
Most importantly, you understand Queensland agriculture.
You may have worked in agricultural technology, farm management, livestock, feedlots, horticulture, agribusiness, rural services, machinery, insurance, labour hire, telecommunications or another industry supporting agricultural customers.
You are comfortable speaking with everyone from a family farming operation through to a large corporate agricultural business.
You understand that trust in agriculture is earned by listening, following through and taking the time to understand how a customer’s business really operates.
The successful candidate will ideally have:
- Strong knowledge of Queensland agriculture and regional communities.
- Experience in account management, customer success, agribusiness or agricultural sales.
- Excellent relationship-building and communication skills.
- The ability to manage multiple customer accounts and onboarding projects.
- A practical, solutions-focused approach.
- Confidence presenting technology and explaining its value in simple terms.
- Strong organisational and follow-up skills.
- The ability to work independently while contributing to a growing team.
- A willingness to travel throughout Queensland.
- A current Australian driver’s licence.
Experience with agricultural safety, technology, software, telecommunications or workplace compliance will be highly regarded but is not essential.
What we offer
- A full-time role based from our growing Toowoomba head office.
- A company vehicle.
- Competitive remuneration based on experience.
- Phone, laptop and tools of trade.
- The opportunity to work directly with agricultural businesses across Queensland.
- A supportive and ambitious Australian-owned company.
- The opportunity to help shape AirAgri’s Queensland customer strategy.
- Meaningful work that helps protect farmers, workers and rural communities.
- Career development opportunities as AirAgri continues to grow nationally.
