Perisher is actively seeking Trail Crew members for a winter-seasonal position. No day is the same, you'll be working across the entire mountain! This varied role plays a vital part in supporting operations throughout the winter season, employing proficient use of machinery and vehicles for clearing pathways, building spaces, roads and car parking areas. You'll gain resort knowledge and experience using a range of equipment. This role will also assist lift operations when needed. The primary objective is to ensure safe and accessible spaces for our valued guests and staff, contributing significantly to the overall functionality and aesthetic appeal of the resort throughout the rest of winter. In this role, you will:

Operate a range of machinery and equipment in areas around the resort.

Ensure equipment is operated and tasks completed in line with regulations, codes of practice, SOP’s and operating instructions.

Clear snow from designated areas

Respond promptly to calls for snow and ice events
-
Perform basic maintenance and small repairs on vehicles and equipment as required

Work alongside a great team within the Mountain Operations Department!
To be considered for this role, you should have:
-
Valid and Current Drivers Licence
-
An enthusiastic, can-do attitude in all weather conditions
-
Be physically fit and able-bodied
-
VOC for excavator/Skid Steer loader is highly desirable
-
Competent Skiing/Board Riding skills, possibly while carrying equipment
-
Understanding of snow its conditions and its effect on equipment
-
Knowledge of, or experience in ski resort operations and the Alpine environment will be highly regarded
