What you'll be doing
In this hands-on role, you will support Allied Health Professionals in delivering effective therapy services to children and their families, ensuring high-quality care and positive outcomes.
- Deliver therapy and education activities under supervision
- Support individual and group programs for children and families
- Document client progress and communicate with the care team
- Assist with therapy resources, equipment and service operations
- Help maintain efficient workflows and a high standard of care

Essential Criteria:
- Qualification: Certificate IV in Allied Health Assistance/relevant qualification or currently enrolled in training for a Certificate IV in AHA or relevant qualification.
Selection Criteria:
1. Demonstrated effective interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate across all levels with internal and external stakeholders.
2. Demonstrated previous experience in a health or community environment.
3. Demonstrated ability to work as a contributing member of an allied health team.
4. Demonstrated ability to prioritise workload delegated by supervising AHP's, meet deadlines and complete activities within scope of practice, seeking assistance as required.
5. Demonstrated computer literacy skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office and email applications.
6. Knowledge and understanding of Work Health and Safety legislation and principles and how it applies to the duties of the position.
7. Demonstrated ability to work within a healthcare service or professional care giving capacity, in a positive manner enhancing the client's ability to achieve positive outcomes and personal goals.
8. Current Driver’s Licence
