We are seeking a dependable and hands-on Delivery Driver to join our FST team based in Heidelberg West. This position involves operating a large delivery van, transporting assistive equipment throughout Melbourne, and using digital systems to manage and record daily jobs, as well as many back-to-warehouse tasks.
You’ll be handling a range of mobility and care-related equipment such as electric scooters, adjustable beds, and recliner chairs. The role is ideal for someone who is safety-focused, practical in their approach, and confident both on the road and with basic technology.

Key Responsibilities
- Operate a delivery van across metro Melbourne
- Transport and collect assistive equipment from homes and care facilities
- Safely load, secure, and unload items
- Position equipment on-site where required
- Record deliveries and job updates using internal systems
- Complete digital paperwork and delivery confirmations
- Liaise with the logistics team regarding scheduling and route updates
- Maintain vehicle cleanliness and report any issues
- Follow all safety and manual handling procedures
- Back to base warehouse support (including cleaning if hire equipment, other ad-hoc warehouse as required)
About You
You are organised, dependable, and take pride in doing your job properly. You’re comfortable using basic systems and understand the importance of accurate record-keeping.
You will bring:
- Current Victorian driver’s licence (Category C)
- Experience driving larger vehicles (e.g. vans)
- Confidence navigating metro and inner-city areas
- Basic computer skills (tablets, job systems, tracking tools)
- Previous experience in delivery, transport, or logistics (preferred)
- Physical ability to move and handle large items safely
- Strong time management and awareness of schedules
- Clear communication and a professional manner with customers
This Role Might Not Be Suitable If You:
- Prefer not to drive larger vehicles
- Are uncomfortable handling heavier items
- Avoid using digital systems for work tasks
- Struggle with time management or punctuality
- Prefer unstructured or loosely managed roles
- Take shortcuts instead of following safety processes
Requirements
- Victorian driver’s licence (Car – Category C)
- Police Check and/or Working With Children Check (or willingness to obtain)
