We are a newly opened, modern podiatry clinic committed to providing high-quality foot and lower limb care in a friendly and professional environment. As a small clinic with one podiatrist, we are seeking a motivated and versatile team member who is ready to take initiative and grow with the business.
This is more than a standard reception role. We are looking for someone who is willing to be hands-on and contribute across multiple areas of the clinic.
The role combines reception, clinical support, sterilisation duties, marketing assistance, and general clinic support. There will be downtime between patients, providing opportunities to assist with business development and marketing initiatives.

We are seeking a team member interested in a long-term role who is motivated to grow with the clinic. This position is best suited to someone seeking stability and professional development within a healthcare environment.
Key Responsibilities
Reception & Administration
- Greeting and checking in patients
- Managing appointments and bookings
- Answering phone calls and responding to enquiries
- Processing payments and handling EFTPOS/HICAPS
- Managing patient records and data entry including recalls
- Liaising with patients in a professional and friendly manner
Clinical & Sterilisation Support
- Cleaning and sterilising podiatry instruments in accordance with infection control standards
- Maintaining sterilisation records
- Preparing treatment rooms
- Assisting with basic clinical setup when required
General Clinic Duties
- Maintaining clinic cleanliness and presentation
- Light cleaning duties (wiping surfaces, tidying rooms, organising stock)
- Monitoring and ordering basic supplies
Marketing & Business Development Support
- Assisting with introduction visits to local GP practices (with guidance)
- Supporting referral relationship building
- Managing and growing the clinic’s Instagram page
- Creating simple social media posts and engaging with followers
- Assisting with basic promotional and advertising activities
About You
We are looking for someone who:
- Is reliable, proactive and organised
- Has excellent communication and customer service skills
- Is confident speaking with patients and healthcare professionals
- Is comfortable with social media (especially Instagram)
- Is willing to learn sterilisation and infection control procedures
- Has a positive attitude and enjoys working in a small team
- Is seeking long-term employment and growth within the practice
- Can manage time effectively during quieter periods
Experience in medical reception, dental, allied health or sterilisation is highly regarded but not essential. Training will be provided to the right candidate.
