Are you an organised and proactive administrator looking to make an impact? Glen Eira Leisure is seeking an experienced Management Assistant to provide high level support to the General Manager Glen Eira Leisure.
In this varied and rewarding role, you will help ensure the smooth day-to-day operation of the General Manager's office, managing priorities, coordinating communications and supporting key business activities across the organisation.

About the role
As the Management Assistant you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth running of the General Manager Glen Eira Leisure office, playing a proactive role in ensuring administrative responsibilities are undertaken in an efficient, professional and timely manner.
Your warm and approachable manner along with your professionalism and discretion will be key to your success in this role.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide excellent customer service to staff and the community, managing all queries and requests for the General Manager GEL in a highly professional, customer focused and efficient manner.
- Coordinate and manage the General Manager GEL’s diary, appointments, events, meetings and conferences.
- Coordinate KPI budgetary reports from all Coordinators and provide the General Manager GEL with fortnightly overviews of income and expenditure.
- Prepare and draft a range of high quality written material as required by the General Manager GEL including routine correspondence, emails, letters and reports.
- Receive and monitor telephone calls, managing any associated actions and assisting in the resolution of queries.
- Coordinate, minute and distribute meeting papers for Management and Committee Meetings.
- Provide timely and relevant information to the General Manager GEL about any issues raised by Staff, Members, Councillors and Residents to enable the General Manager GEL to take appropriate action.

Qualifications and Experience
- Experience and demonstrated skills in providing high level, confidential administrative support in a secretarial or management assistant or similar position.
- Experience in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.
- Experience in working in a very busy customer service environment.
- Experience of the leisure, recreation or local government sector would be advantageous.
- First Aid Level 2 and CPR Certificates.
