We are seeking an aspiring Yard Tug Driver - All rounder to join our Sydney team. This role will perform Tug, Forklift and Truck Washing duties daily within our Arndell Park Terminal. The role will predominantly include Tug driving.
Duties include:
- Operate tug vehicles to move trailers around the Terminal
- Trailer movements including reversing trailers onto docks
- Liaise with logistics team in regards to paperwork
- Load/unload trucks
- Ensure loads are properly restrained
- Coupling and uncoupling trailers
- Ability to reverse trailers
- Washing of Trucks and trailers
Have availability to work between the hours of 4am to 6:30pm pending shift schedule.
Desired Skills and Experience:
- You'll need to be hands on with a 'can-do' attitude
- Experience reversing trailers
- Ability to follow instructions to ensure work is completed in a timely manner
- Ability to work within a team environment
- Adhere to workplace safety requirements and use PPE correctly at all times
- Ability to work within time constraints and meet deadlines
- Valid Forklift licence
- Current HR Drivers Licence will be beneficial
