About the Role
As a Disability Support Worker, you will be responsible for supporting both children and adults with a range of disabilities in their daily routines and social activities.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Personal care, including assistance with hygiene, dressing, and mobility
- Daily living tasks such as meal preparation, cleaning, and community access
- Supporting skill development and fostering independence
- Engaging participants in recreational and educational activities
- Working collaboratively with families, therapists, and support coordinators
- Ensuring all supports are delivered in line with NDIS goals and compliance standards
About You
We are looking for someone who:
- Has experience supporting both children and adults with disabilities
- Is compassionate, patient, and reliable
- Communicates clearly and respectfully with participants and their families
- Can work independently and follow participant care plans
- Understands and respects diverse backgrounds and support needs
NDIS Compliance (Required or Willing to Obtain):
- NDIS Worker Screening Check
- Working with Children Check
- First Aid and CPR Certification
- Valid Australian Driver’s Licence and reliable vehicle
Location
This role is based in Footscray, VIC, with regular shifts available in the local area.
