Due to continued growth, we are seeking an experienced Contract Administrator to join our team on a full-time permanent basis.
About the Role
The Contract Administrator will prepare, review, negotiate, administer and monitor commercial contracts and partnership agreements, ensuring compliance with contractual obligations, organisational policies and Australian legislation while supporting the Institute's commercial and operational objectives.
Key Responsibilities
· Prepare, review, negotiate and administer commercial contracts, consultancy agreements, service agreements and partnership agreements.
· Develop, review and negotiate contract amendments, extensions, renewals and variations.
· Manage agreements with education agents, training partners, consultants, suppliers and external service providers.
· Interpret contract terms and ensure compliance with contractual obligations, organisational policies and Australian legislation.
· Monitor contract performance, deliverables, milestones, service levels and renewal schedules.
· Respond to contractual enquiries and resolve contract-related issues.
· Identify contractual, operational and financial risks and recommend mitigation strategies.
· Maintain accurate contract registers and electronic document management systems.
· Coordinate procurement activities including quotations, tender documentation and supplier evaluations.
· Monitor budgets, invoices and payment schedules.
· Liaise with legal advisers and stakeholders regarding contractual matters.
· Support compliance audits and prepare contract performance reports.
· Recommend continuous improvements to contract administration processes.
Skills & Experience
· Bachelor's degree in Business, Commerce, Law, Management or a related discipline.
· Minimum three years' experience as a Contract Administrator or similar role.
· Strong knowledge of commercial contract administration and Australian contract law.
· Excellent negotiation, communication and stakeholder management skills.
· Strong analytical, organisational and problem-solving abilities.
· Ability to manage multiple contracts and deadlines.
· Advanced Microsoft Office and electronic document management skills.
· Experience in the education, training or professional services sector is highly desirable.
