We are seeking an experienced and passionate Training Lead – Processing to help develop the skills and capability of our processing workforce. If you are passionate about coaching others, building high-performing teams and creating a strong learning culture, this is an exciting opportunity to make a real impact.
As a key member of our Training team, you will work closely with operational leaders to deliver hands-on training, support new employees, and strengthen workforce capability across our beef and lamb processing operations. Your leadership will help ensure our people are trained safely, consistently and to the highest quality standards.

Job Tasks and Responsibilities

Deliver hands-on training and coaching across processing departments.
- Support new starters as they transition into operational roles.
- Conduct competency assessments and maintain training records.
- Coordinate the Elevate Your Skills program and monitor participant progress.
- Develop and improve training materials and learning resources.
- Promote safe work practices, quality standards and operational compliance.
- Support supervisors and workplace trainers with capability development.
- Collaborate with Production and Training teams to build workforce capability.
Skills and Experience
-
Experience in a training, coaching or leadership role within manufacturing or food production.
- Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (or willingness to obtain).
- Strong communication, coaching and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to deliver practical, hands-on training and competency assessments.
- Good organisational skills with experience maintaining training records.
- Commitment to workplace safety, quality and continuous improvement.
