Gosford RSL Club is seeking a motivated and hands-on Motel Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of our Galaxy Motel.
This is a fantastic opportunity to join one of the Central Coast's leading hospitality venues and play a key role in driving performance, guest satisfaction, and the continued growth of our accommodation offering. Reporting to the Finance Manager and working closely with the Club's leadership team, you will be responsible for ensuring operational excellence, maintaining high service standards, leading your team, and delivering an outstanding experience for every guest who stays with us.

Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily motel operations, ensuring rooms, facilities and grounds are maintained to a high standard
- Drive occupancy through engagement with corporate groups, sporting bodies and tourism networks
- Manage booking systems, online booking channels and agencies
- Lead, coach and develop reception staff and support recruitment and performance management
- Deliver exceptional guest experiences and respond professionally to feedback and reviews
- Contribute to budgeting, reporting and financial performance, including rate reviews
- Support marketing initiatives and conduct competitor analysis to enhance market presence
- Ensure compliance with relevant legislation and WHS requirements
Skills and Experiences:
About You
You are a proactive leader with strong operational knowledge of motels and a genuine passion for hospitality.
- Proven experience in motel or accommodation operations with a supervisory or leadership background
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Highly organised, with the ability to multitask and prioritise effectively
- Customer-focused with a commitment to service excellence
- Commercially aware, with the ability to contribute to financial performance and growth
- A positive, adaptable and team-oriented mindset
Qualifications & Requirements
- RSA & RCG certificates (or willingness to obtain)
