The Role: High Reach Forklift Operator
This role is a 50/ 50 role. You will be required to complete manual handling and pick packing duties as well as High Reach and Counter Balance forklift operation. You must be prepared to spend up to 6 hours a shift not operating forklifts in this role.
As a Forklift Operator your main duties will involve:
High Reach:
- 6 racks high
- Picking, replenishment, put aways
- Pallet consolidations
- Picking online orders VIA RF scanners
- Picking bulk retail store orders
Counter Balance:
- Inbound and outbound work
- Receiving and Despatch work
- Loading and unloading trucks
- Loading and unloading containers
- Dropping pallets to the Automation centre
- Dock work - forklift and Manual work
- Pallet Consolidations
- Neat Pallets - No ugly freight
Manual Handling duties:
- Picking orders
- RF Scanning
- Moving stock in and out of locations
- Palletising stock
- Pallet Jack work
- Shrink wrapping pallets
Shift Available:
- Afternoon:
- 2:30pm – 10:30pm
- Monday to Friday
- Paying $41.98 p/hr + Super
The Candidate:
To be successful in obtaining this role you will have the following:
- High Reach Forklift operation up to 6 racks High
- Putaway, picking, Replenishment and Pallet Consolidation experience
- Counter Balance forklift experience
- Experience loading and unloading trucks and containers
- Willingness to load and unload containers by hand
- Pallet Jack experience
- RF Scanner Pick packing
- Palletising stock
- Inventory and stock take experience
- Experience working in an automation warehousing environment
- Excellent attention to detail
- Previous experience in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent WHS knowledge
These are temp to Perm roles so you must be able to commit to the role in an ongoing capacity and have Full Australian Working rights to apply.
Due to the Leppington location there is no public transport available to this site.
