As our Accountant, you will oversee the day-to-day financial operations across two business entities while working closely with the leadership team to provide meaningful financial insights that support business growth. Key Responsibilities
Accounting, Bookkeeping and Compliance
- Manage the full end-to-end accounting function for two business entities, including:
- General ledger
- Accounts payable and accounts receivable
- Bank reconciliations
- Month-end and year-end processes
- Preparing BAS, FBT, payroll tax and other compliance lodgements
- Process payroll accurately and ensure compliance with relevant tax and payroll obligations.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records in the accounting system.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, accounting standards, and internal controls.
- Liaise with external accountants regarding year-end reporting, tax compliance, and statutory requirements.
Financial Reporting and Analysis
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for each entity.
- Deliver timely management reports and financial analysis to support strategic and operational decision-making.
- Monitor financial performance and identify trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement.
Business and Operational Support
- Assist with budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management, and financial modelling.
- Identify opportunities to improve financial processes and increase operational efficiency.
- Partner with the Sales and Operations teams to provide financial support across the business.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and help strengthen financial systems and processes.
About You
You are an experienced accountant who combines strong technical knowledge with commercial awareness. You enjoy taking ownership of your work, building positive relationships across the business, and finding ways to improve processes.
Qualifications and Experience
- Tertiary qualification in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
- CPA or CA qualification is highly regarded.
- Must have minimum 3+ years' experience in a similar all-rounder accounting role.
- Strong working knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.
- Experience processing payroll and ensuring compliance with payroll and taxation obligations.
- Proficiency in Xero and MYOB software.

- Highly organised and able to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
