In this role, you'll:
Lead the analysis and interpretation of freight data to generate strategic, network, and operational insights that support evidence based decision making.
Working across large and complex datasets, you will develop analytical products, apply statistical and quantitative techniques, and provide high quality advice to stakeholders.
The role collaborates closely with data analysts, modellers, and business stakeholders to ensure insights are accurate, impactful, and aligned with organisational priorities, while supporting the ongoing development of freight data capabilities and analytical products.

This is a permanent position based in Paramatta, NSW
About you
You are a highly analytical and technically skilled data professional with experience working with large and complex datasets to deliver meaningful business insights. You enjoy solving complex problems, building data products, and translating analytical findings into practical recommendations for a range of audiences.
Strong experience using Python and modern data platforms, such as Databricks or similar cloud based analytics environments.
Experience managing, transforming, and analysing large scale datasets to support strategic and operational decision making.
Knowledge of data management, data quality, and analytical best practices.
Strong analytical and problem solving skills, with the ability to identify trends, risks, and opportunities from complex data.
Experience developing analytical products, reports, dashboards, or insights that inform business outcomes.
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present technical findings clearly to both technical and non technical stakeholders.
A collaborative mindset and a passion for using data to drive better decisions and improve performance.
