About the role:
We have a great opportunity for enthusiastic Perioperative Enrolled Nurses with experience in Anaesthetics and Recovery to join our clinical team on a part time basis with a minimum 48 hours per fortnight. Monday to Friday, no public holidays and no on call shifts.
Duties and responsibilities:
This role will see you working collaboratively in a multi-disciplinary healthcare team to support patient care needs and deliver exceptional clinical outcomes.
- Support the nursing team to deliver safe, evidence-based patient care
- Ensure the patients, day surgery and equipment are ready for surgery
- Ensure patient safety and communication with surgical team is always a key focus
- Enrolled nursing tasks within scope of practice
- Monitor and evaluate patient recovery, addressing any complications
- Deliver education and support to patients for the management of their recovery
- Complete and accurate patient documentation
About You:
You have a genuine passion for nursing, providing world-class patient care and adding value to Australian healthcare. You will have:
- Solid experience in Perioperative Enrolled Nursing with experience in Anaesthetics/ Recovery
- Current AHPRA registration as an Enrolled Nurse
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
- Experience in the below specialties desirable
