About the Role:
A day in the role of a Youth Worker at CatholicCare may include supporting young people to manage challenging behaviours, planning or attending activities and following daily routines to promote life-skills development. As part of being the young person’s role model, you will also complete case notes and admin tasks daily as well as helping to maintain a clean and safe environment.

- Previous experience or training in personal care and PEG feeding is highly regarded; however, applicants who are willing to learn and undertake training are encouraged to apply.
What You’ll Do:
- Support young people in navigating life’s challenges and building confidence.
- Facilitate engaging activities, mentoring sessions, and community programs.
- Advocate for youth needs and collaborate with families, schools, and support services.
- Bring your disability support experience to create inclusive spaces for our young people.
