We are hiring a commercially driven Business Development – Technical Solutions professional for a global leader in engineered airflow solutions. This hunter-style role will drive market expansion across Australia through new business acquisition, strategic account development, and revenue growth for engineered products and technical solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
* Drive new business acquisition and expand market share across Australia
* Develop and execute strategic business development and sales plans
aligned with market opportunities
* Build, manage, and convert a healthy sales pipeline using CRM tools
* Develop and grow strategic customer accounts to maximize long-term
revenue and profitability
* Identify customer needs and provide value-based technical solutions
* Gather market intelligence on industry trends, customer requirements, and
competitor activities
* Optimize pricing strategies and product mix to improve margins
* Collaborate with technical and commercial teams to deliver tailored
customer solutions
* Build trusted relationships with OEMs, distributors, and industrial
customers
* Contribute to long-term market expansion initiatives with the opportunity
to build and lead a team as the business grows
Ideal Candidate Profile:
* Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a
related discipline (or equivalent experience)
* 8–10 years of experience in Business Development, Technical Sales, or B2B
Solution Sales
* Proven success in new business acquisition and pipeline development
* Experience selling technical or engineered products, including HVAC,
airflow, industrial equipment, cooling solutions, automation, or OEM
components.
* Prior experience within the Australian market
* Strong commercial acumen with a proven track record of driving revenue
growth and improving margins
* Hands-on experience with CRM systems for pipeline management and
forecasting
* Ability to translate technical capabilities into compelling customer value
propositions
Pay: $125,000.00 – $150,000.00 per year
