This opportunity would suit an apprentice who already has experience in residential carpentry and is looking to build on it. About Studio Clad
Studio Clad is a Metal Cladding business based in Airport West, specialising in modern architectural metal cladding.
We work across Melbourne and Victoria on high-end residential homes, commercial projects and mixed-use developments, delivering quality workmanship with a strong focus on detail.
About the role:
You'll work alongside an experienced team across a variety of projects, gaining hands-on experience in:
- External cladding installation
- Installation of substrate
- Vapour barriers, flashings and external building preparation
- Removal of existing materials
- Site setup, clean-up and material handling
- Safe use and maintenance of hand and power tools
You'll work in a team where your contribution is as important as everyone else’s, your development is supported and you'll have the opportunity to learn directly from experienced and highly skilled professionals while working on a diverse range of projects.
What we're looking for:
We're looking for someone with a foundation in carpentry/cladding who understands how building sites operate and wants to continue developing their trade.
You'll also have:
- A strong work ethic and willingness to learn
- Pride in producing neat, high-quality workmanship
- Good communication skills and reliability
- Initiative and a positive attitude
- The ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- A genuine desire to build a long-term career in metal cladding
Requirements:
- Current driver's licence
- Reliable vehicle or work ute
- White Card (or willingness to obtain one)
- Full Australian working rights
- Residential carpentry or construction experience
