The Bat & Ball Hotel is looking for a Venue Manager for a hands on & collaborative leadership role. The Bat & Ball is a busy and dynamic venue which requires a leader who is flexibile and adaptable.
This role is suited to either an experienced Venue Manager or someone ready to take the next step in their hospitality career. Working closely with owners this is an opportunity to take ownership of the venue whilst operating within our vision of being the best pub in Sydney.
ROLES & RESPONSIBILTIES
- Uphold established systems to maintain growth
- Maintain strong COGS and keep wages at a sustainable level
- Motivate and retain a strong management and casual team
- Maintain a genuine presence in the venue by becoming part of the community and building rapport with locals
- Illustrate exceptional communication both in person and via digital channels
- Display innovation and creativity in promotions and events
- Experience using Square, Sevenrooms & Deputy beneficial but not essential
This role enjoys a 4 day work week with flexible days and hours but weekend and evening work is essential
Pay: $85,000.00 – $95,000.00 per year
