About the Role:
Contribute to the delivery of a quality educational service by assisting and supporting teachers within the Home Economics Department with the preparation, organisation, and enhancement of learning materials, practical activities, and classroom resources.
Responsibilities:
Support teachers and students with classroom, practical learning, sporting, and excursion activities.
Assist with the preparation, organisation, and management of learning resources, equipment, and materials.
Provide administrative support, including photocopying, record keeping, data entry, and organising activities.
Work collaboratively with teachers to support student learning, including literacy and numeracy programs.
Assist with the supervision and wellbeing of students, including those with additional support needs.
Support practical subjects such as science, textiles, and food studies through preparation and maintenance of materials and equipment.
Maintain accurate records and demonstrate professionalism, confidentiality, and strong interpersonal skills.
Contribute to a safe and supportive learning environment, including providing first aid where required.
