C&M Aquatic Centre is a family-owned swim school that has proudly provided swimming lessons to children and adults in the Padstow area for over 30 years. We are currently seeking a friendly, reliable receptionist to join our welcoming team.
This role would suit a mature, responsible individual looking for a fulfilling position in a positive and rewarding environment. As a key member of our team, you will play an important role in the smooth day-to-day operation and continued growth of our swim school.
Key responsibilities:
- Providing exceptional customer service to new and existing clients
- Answering enquiries via phone, email, and at the front desk
- Maintaining accurate customer records in the database
- Ensuring fees are paid on time
- Assisting with class bookings and schedule management
- Replenishing stock and making coffee for customers
- Maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment
- General office administration tasks
- Other duties as required by the Manager
Essential skills and experience:
- Previous experience in a receptionist or customer service role
- Excellent communication, organisation, and computer skills
- Confidence using Microsoft Office, particularly Word and Excel
- Experience working with children
- Ability to multitask and work effectively in a busy environment
- Experience in the aquatic industry is preferred but not essential
- Current First Aid and CPR certification
- Valid Working With Children Check
Hours or work:
This is a casual position requiring availability for afternoon shifts on most weekdays.
Friday afternoons and Saturday mornings are essential.
- Monday to Friday: 2:30pm – 7:30pm
- Saturday: 6:45am – 12:30pm
Shifts will be allocated based on availability and suitability. Full on the job training will be provided.
