Hourly rate will be based on experience. Working hours Monday to Thursday 7.30am to 4.00pm and Friday 6.30 am to 12.30.
What you will do:
· Perform preventive maintenance, inspections, and repairs on plant equipment and machinery
· Help with installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing a wide range of mechanical systems and equipment across the site.
· Support continuous improvement activities to ensure all systems are efficient and assist to improve to help improve plant efficiency.
· Diagnose faults quickly and implement effective, lasting solutions.
· Adhere to all safety standards, policies, and procedures.
What you will bring to the team:
· Minimum Certificate III in a mechanical trade, Fitter & Turner.
· Experience in breakdown as well as preventative maintenance.
· Ability to read and understand engineering drawings
· Hands on, Practical experience in a maintenance environment
· Mechanical aptitude and strong problem-solving skills.
· Experience in Production maintenance, repair, and fabrication.
· Welding certificate a must have.
· Maintaining a good interdepartmental working relationship.
· Forklift license.
Must have permanent work rights in Australia with no restrictions
Pay: $40.00 – $42.00 per hour
