Western Sydney Gastro is a busy, modern gastroenterology specialist practice committed to providing outstanding patient care. We are looking for an experienced, friendly and highly organised Medical Receptionist to join our supportive team.

About the Role
As the first point of contact for our practice, you will play a key role in creating a welcoming experience for our patients while ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of our clinics.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Greeting and assisting patients with warmth and professionalism
- Managing appointments and specialist consulting lists
- Answering a busy multi-line phone system
- Processing Medicare, EFTPOS and private billing
- Managing referrals, correspondence and patient records
- Liaising with GPs, hospitals and allied health providers
- General reception and administrative duties
About You
The ideal candidate will have:
- Previous experience as a medical or specialist receptionist (essential)
- Outstanding communication and customer service skills
- A professional, compassionate and positive attitude
- Excellent organisational skills with strong attention to detail
- The ability to multitask and remain calm in a busy environment
- Strong computer skills (experience with Clinic to Cloud is highly regarded)
Availability
This position is 3–4 days per week across our Bella Vista and Richmond consulting rooms.
You will also be available to work one Saturday morning per month on a roster basis and provide additional leave cover when required.

Pay: $30.00 – $37.00 per hour
