Banksia Tourist Park is a family-run tourist park and lifestyle village for over 55s, based in Hazelmere. We offer onsite and short-stay accommodation, permanent sites and a welcoming community environment for our guests, residents and visitors.
We are looking for a friendly, capable and reliable Reception and Reservations team member who enjoys helping people, working in a busy office environment and being part of a supportive team.

- Immediate start
- Casual role, with approximately 20-30 hours per week. Hours may vary depending on the operational needs of the business.
- Available Monday to Sunday, including public holidays.
- Weekday shifts will vary depending on the operational needs of the business
- Weekend shifts are usually 10.00am – 4.00pm, approximately every second or third weekend
- Front reception duties, including answering incoming calls, redirecting enquiries, managing correspondence and taking reservation bookings
- Meet and greet guests, residents and clients in a warm and professional manner
- Liaise with permanent residents, build rapport and help maintain a positive community atmosphere
- Use booking and office systems to manage reservations, enquiries, guest communication through third-party booking gateways, daily administration and general office duties
- Scanning, photocopying and electronic filing
- Perform ad-hoc office duties, assist with laundry as required, and help ensure the office, reception and shared areas are kept clean, organized and welcoming
- Previous reception, reservations, hospitality or administration experience is preferred, but full training in our booking systems will be provided
- Experience with Newbook or RMS is highly desirable
- Good computer skills and the ability to learn new systems quickly
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word or Excel is desirable
- Excellent phone skills, clear communication and confidence dealing with guests, residents and people from different backgrounds
- Well organised, efficient and able to multitask with excellent attention to detail
- A current driver’s licence is required
- Well-presented, courteous and professional
- Proactive, with a strong work ethic and initiative
- A vibrant personality, friendly and helpful attitude, and positive energy to bring to the team
- Current police clearance and the right to work in Australia are required
