Key Responsibilities
We are particularly looking for an RN who is experienced and confident in:
- Wound assessment and wound management
- Catheter care, including IDC and SPC care and management
- Medication management and clinical monitoring
- Health assessments and clinical reviews
- Continence assessment and care
- Chronic disease management
- Community and/or aged care nursing
- Supporting clients to maintain independence and wellbeing
- Working independently in clients' homes and community settings
- Clinical documentation and communication with GPs, specialists, families and other healthcare professionals
- Identifying clinical risks and escalating concerns appropriately
Essential Requirements
- Current AHPRA registration as a registered nurse
- Current National Police Check
- Current Working with Children Check, if applicable
- Current professional indemnity insurance
- Current driver's licence and reliable vehicle
- Ability to work independently and make sound clinical decisions
- Strong clinical documentation and communication skills
- A warm, professional, compassionate and reliable approach to clients and families
- Previous experience in community, aged care or disability nursing is highly regarded
Pay: $79,040.00 – $94,848.00 per year
