Kilsyth Medical Centre is seeking a dedicated and experienced Medical Receptionist to join our friendly and professional team on a part-time or casual basis. Based in Kilsyth, VIC, this role is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced healthcare environment and is passionate about delivering excellent patient service.
In this role, you will act as the first point of contact for patients, greeting them in a warm and professional manner while managing appointments, phone calls, and enquiries efficiently. You will be responsible for handling patient billing and payments using systems such as Best Practice, Tyro, and HICAPS, as well as maintaining accurate and confidential patient records. The position also involves providing general administrative support and working closely with the clinical team to ensure smooth daily operations and positive patient experiences.
The ideal candidate will have prior experience in a medical reception or similar healthcare setting, along with strong communication and organisational skills. You should have a high level of attention to detail, the ability to multitask, and confidence in working with sensitive information while maintaining strict confidentiality. Professionalism, reliability, and a patient-focused approach are essential for success in this role.
