About the Role
We are seeking compassionate and reliable Disability Support Workers to support NDIS participants with daily living tasks, community access, and skill development. The ideal candidate will have a genuine passion for helping others and the ability to build positive, respectful relationships.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide personal care, including hygiene, grooming, and mobility assistance
- Support with domestic tasks such as cleaning, meal preparation, and household organisation
- Assist with community access, appointments, and social activities
- Implement behaviour support strategies (if applicable)
- Maintain accurate shift notes and documentation
- Promote independence, choice, and dignity for participants
Essential Requirements
- Certificate III or IV in Disability, Aged Care, Individual Support, or equivalent
- Current NDIS Worker Screening Check
- Current Working With Children Check (if required)
- First Aid & CPR Certificate
- Valid Driver’s Licence and reliable vehicle with comprehensive insurance
- Right to work in Australia
- Smartphone for app‑based rostering and documentation
Desirable
- Experience supporting clients with complex needs
- Training in manual handling, medication assistance, or behaviour support
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
