Our Opportunity
As Director, Procurement – Development, you’ll drive the continued evolution of procurement across Development and Construction as a strategic, agile capability that drives sustainable savings and lasting value. You’ll partner closely with the Development division (including Design and Construction) to co-design and execute a pipeline of procurement projects, optimising outcomes and embedding procurement strategies into business-as-usual operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Align with the business on a hybrid procurement operating model and sourcing strategies, with procurement platforms and digital/ AI based solutions which support optimal commercial & quality outcomes across our Development projects
- Collaborate with stakeholders to prepare category and go-to-market strategies, ensuring transparency, accountability and a fair process which drives whole of life value.

Work with internal and external partners to optimise design standards and inputs to deliver commercially favourable and simplified operational outcomes while upholding Mirvac’s reputation for design excellence and innovation.

Oversee a central repository of procurement partnership deals and other relevant information, ensuring clear and consistent communication across the business.

Embed new and existing category strategies, tracking benefits against prior pricing and project budgets, effectively reporting progress.

Develop and manage supplier engagement plans, broaden sourcing options, and foster innovative partnerships, which reduce our carbon footprint and address supply chain risk.

Establish effective operating rhythms and communication for leadership and working groups, ensuring timely reporting, issue escalation and pipeline/ initiative review.

Work with Responsible Sourcing to advance carbon footprint reduction, social procurement, and modern slavery mitigation across our extended supply chain.

Contribute to and champion Mirvac’s “This Changes Everything” ESG strategy, working with Group & Development Sustainability teams

Lead and develop your team and be an active and supportive member of the Procurement & Workplace leadership team, role modelling Mirvac’s Values and Code of Conduct
Your Point of Difference
- Minimum eight years’ experience in a large organisation, preferably within property, construction and/ or supply chain, procurement, or ESG.

Proven commercial acumen and experience in technology solutions (incl AI) and procurement platforms.

Effective leadership of cross-functional teams providing high challenge and high support

Exceptional communication and influencing skills, with the ability to transform reporting and data into actionable insights.

Pragmatic, self-aware and curious, with high emotional intelligence and advanced project management, stakeholder engagement and negotiation skills.
