Tyrewise is a tyre and mechanical business with two stores across the Sunshine Coast. We cater to all types of vehicles, from small passenger cars, buses, earthmovers, large agricultural machinery and more.
We are looking for a Sales Manager to help drive our commercial department who specialise in all types of commercial tyres from trucks through to earthmoving tyres.
Position Overview
As the Sales Manager, you will be responsible for driving sales growth and managing a team of sales representatives and fitters within our commercial department. This role requires a deep understanding of the market dynamics, customer needs, and effective sales strategies to maximise revenue and profitability.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement strategic sales plans that align with company goals and objectives.
- Lead, motivate, and manage a team of sales representatives, setting clear targets and providing guidance and support to achieve them.
- Oversee the daily operations of the sales and tyre team, including workload allocation, productivity monitoring, quality control, customer service standards, and ensuring all work is completed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with company procedures.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, understanding their needs and ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Conduct market research and analysis to identify opportunities for growth, track competitor activity, and adjust strategies accordingly.
- Monitor sales performance metrics, analyse data, and prepare reports to evaluate progress towards goals.
- Provide training and development opportunities to the sales team to enhance their skills and knowledge of products and services.
- Manage the sales department budget effectively, ensuring resources are allocated appropriately to achieve targets.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field. Alternatively 10+ years experience in the Tyre Industry with a track record of achieving sales targets and leading teams.
- Current and valid Australian manual licence

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $110,000.00 per year
